We would like to inform you that your current health insurance card will become unusable after its expiration date on December 1, 2025.
(If eligibility ends before the expiration date, it will be invalidated at that time and must be returned.)
Going forward, insurance verification will primarily be conducted using the Myna (My Number) Health Insurance Card.Therefore, we kindly request those who have not yet applied for a Myna Health Insurance Card -- either because you haven't been issued a my Number card or haven't yet registered it for health insurance use -- to proceed promptly with its registration.
・For instructions on applying a My Number card, please refer to Reference 1.
・For usage procedures and applying for the Myna(My Number) Health Insurance Card, please refer to Reference 2.
・Additionally, the use of your Myna(My Number) Health Insurance Card at medical institutions requires registration of your My Number with the health insurance society. This registration must be submitted by your company to the health insurance society. If you have not yet submitted your My Number to your company, please do so promptly. please refer to Reference 3.

About the My Number Card Expiration Date
Both the My Number card and the electronic certificate (which electronically verifies the identity of the cardholder) have expiration dates. For those approaching these expiration dates, the Local Government Information System Organization (J-LIS) will send an "Expiration Notification" two to three months prior, enclosed in a sealed envelope to your home address. Please ensure you complete the renewal procedures promptly.
- In cases where a My Number card has not been issued (such as for newborns), or if a Myna(My Number) Health Insurance Card has not been created by the time the insurance card expires, the health insurance association will issue an "Eligibility Certificate" as a temporary replacement. However, please note that the Eligibility Certificate is a temporary document with a set expiration date, and it cannot be used beyond that date. We recommend creating and using your Myna(My Number) Health Insurance Card.
